Ana Vaz has a Master's degree in Archeology and Landscape and has been a researcher in Archaeology, Arts and Heritage Sciences Center at the University of Coimbra since 2009.

She participated in archaeology and heritage research projects in Portugal, Morocco, Syria and Iraq. Since 2022 she has been the ESA BIC Portugal Programme Manager at the Innovation Department in Instituto Pedro Nunes.
