Bruna Tavares is a Master in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Porto. Currently, he is attending the PhD program in Sustainable Energy Systems, also at FEUP, in partnership with MIT Portugal.

She is currently a researcher at the Center for Power and Energy Systems (CPES) at INESC TEC. Bruna has been part of the FEL-PT program since its first edition in 2021 and is one of the founders of the Women in Energy program.
