As the Head of Startups at bitkom, a renowned industry association with nearly 2000 member companies of which around 700 are startups, Daniel Breitinger is dedicated to promoting the growth and success of startups in the country through a variety of initiatives. These include advocating for supportive policies and regulations, as well as fostering increased collaboration and networking among startup founders, investors, and other key players in the ecosystem. Prior to working at bitkom, Daniel studied European and Political Science in Passau, Pavia (Italy) and Berlin and worked in the German Bundestag and in the automotive industry.
