Economist and PhD student in Innovation and Territory Management at UALG, with a graduate degree in innovation and entrepreneurship, Hugo Barros is Head of Division and Operational Manager the Division of Entrepreneurship and Knowledge Transfer (CRIA) at the University of the Algarve, ensuring all business contacts and management of the incubation spaces.

Responsible for the incubation area, it ensures the necessary monitoring of entrepreneurs and companies aiming to establish their incubator space at UALG TECH START, being responsible from the first contact with the entrepreneur, the support of the business plan and business model, the identification of financing opportunities and the contact with investors., supporting the creation and development of business projects and the negotiation processes between university and industry.
